These are atypical headphones that Ultimate Eats presented. The Swiss subsidiary Logitech has indeed managed to develop True Wireless intras capable of automatically shaping their tip to adapt to all ear shapes.
Update of 07/11/2022: Ultimate Ears has finally announced, two years after their release across the Atlantic, the marketing of UE Fits in France. The headphones are available in three shades (midnight blue, gray and lilac), since October 27 at a price of 229.99 euros.

These new in-ear headphones and True Wireless indeed have gel tips capable of automatically adjusting according to the shape of the ears of each user. This technology benefits from all the experience of the group’s engineers, originally specializing in the manufacture of systems In-Eardevices (often custom-made) designed to give musicians optimal audio feedback in concert.
But the great strength of these headphones is in the first place that they are not a vague prototype promised to be marketed in a few years. They are operational and will arrive on the market this fall in the United States, where pre-orders are already open for an amount of 199 dollars. For more transparency, the brand also promises a 30-day trial period to users of its UE Fits.

As Engadget reports, the operation of the UE Fits is in absolute terms relatively simple. Ultimate Ears relies on LEDs added in the earpiece, near the tip. These will measure the entrance to the ear canal once the earphone is placed in the ear and the application launched for the first configuration. The rest of the operation takes place at the level of the gel tips of the UE Fit. The technology developed by Ultimate Ears is able to solidify this gel so that it adapts better to each ear.
This method allows the earpiece to be dynamically adjusted to the ear in less than 60 seconds, assures Ultimate Eats. It is also supposed to make prolonged use comfortable, while allowing better passive insulation. For the rest, the UE Fits embed 10 mm drivers and for better bass and have an IPX3 certification. They are also compatible with Google Assistants and Siri. In terms of autonomy, UE announces 8 hours of continuous listening on a single charge for the headphones, and up to 20 hours for the case. These new headphones will finally be available in three colors: gray, lilac and black.
