Ultra, Revolut’s new high-end bank card that is really very expensive

After its Plus, Premium and Metal formulas, Revolut is moving into the high end with its Ultra subscription and its platinum-plated card.

Revolut announced on June 16, the launch in France of its new Ultra offer, billed 45 euros per month for the first three months, then 55 euros per month (or 540 euros per year). Customers can register at waiting list to benefit from the new subscription.

Those who will be registered on the waiting list and will opt for the annual payment of the subscription, will receive 5% cash back on purchases made in the first month.

“Ultra is rolling out today in Europe via a soft launch as we have limited stocks of this product at this time. Revolut customers on the waitlist can expect to receive an invitation from today or over the next few days, weeks depending on demand.

There platinum plated card Ultra offers many benefits, including free and unlimited international transfers, 2,000 euros in withdrawals at ATMs “at no additional cost charged by Revolut worldwide”.

To pamper high-end customers, online banking offers other bonuses. Among them, we find “purchase protection of up to 10,000 euros per year for items stolen or damaged within one year of purchase”.

In case event, flight, train or accommodation canceledthe customer may also benefit from a reimbursement of up to 5,000 euros and 600 euros for “qualifying purchases” (up to 90 days after the date of purchase).

The small dishes in the big ones: the Ultra card gives unlimited access to more than 1,400 airport lounges and up to 10% cash back on hotel reservations. “Ultra account holders will also be able to travel around the world with peace of mind, knowing they have worldwide coverage for emergency medical and dental care, including winter sports,” explains Revolut in a press release.
