Un, Dos, Tres: new generation: will there be a season 2?

Season 1 of “Un, Dos, Tres: new generation” ends this Thursday, November 23 on W9. But will there be a season 2?

Last Wednesday, W9 launched with great fanfare Un, Dos, Tres: new generation, the highly anticipated sequel to the cult series from the 2000s Un, Dos, Tres.

Nearly 20 years after the broadcast of the first episode in France, Lola (Beatriz Luengo), Silvia (Mónica Cruz) and Roberto (Miguel Ángel Muñoz) put on their dancing shoes to once again tread the floor of the famous School of Arts in the Carmen Arranz Scene.

But this time, the trio is passing the torch to a whole new generation of passionate artists ready to make any sacrifices to become true entertainment professionals.

At the start of this sequel, Roberto returned to Madrid with a very specific idea, that of creating a musical comedy featuring the greatest hits of UPA Dance, the group he formed with his old school friends.

The opportunity for him to meet Silvia, now director of Carmen Arranz’s school, and Lola, who has become a renowned choreographer. To carry out this project, the three friends decide to put the past aside and recruit the future stars of this musical while saving the school where they were born.

After offering the first four parts of the season last week, W9 will broadcast this Wednesday, November 23, the last four episodes of “Un, Dos, Tres: new generation”. And obviously, everyone is wondering if there will be a season 2…

WILL THERE BE A SEASON 2?

If the last episode of the season ends with an open ending, it also has the air of a finale since all the intrigues seem to have been completed. Are we to understand that there will be no season 2?

For the moment, no sequel has been announced for the series. Questioned on this subject last May by our colleagues from Culture in SeriesAlmudena Salort, the interpreter of Lala Lazy, confided: “At the moment, we have no news regarding a possible sequel. Let’s hope there is material for a second season“.

Everything is still possible and fans just have to cross their fingers…
