Un, dos, tres: we saw the first episode of the sequel to the cult series with Sylvia, Lola and Roberto

Salto posted this Sunday, December 25 the first episode of “Un, dos, tres: New generation”, the sequel to the cult series “Un, dos, tres”, which sees the return of Sylvia, Lola and Roberto within from the Carmen Arranz school.

This Sunday, December 25, the School of Performing Arts of Carmen Arranz reopened its doors, to the delight of fans of Un, dos, tres, who followed with fervor on M6 the adventures of Silvia, Lola, Roberto , Ingrid or even Pedro.

And it is on Salto, which already offers the complete six seasons of Un, dos, tres to its subscribers, that this long-awaited reunion took place. The platform has indeed put online this Sunday the first episode of UPA Next (renamed Un, dos, tres: new generation in France) simultaneously with the Spanish broadcast.

And for the occasion, we take the same ones and we start again since Mónica Cruz, Beatriz Luengo, Miguel Ángel Muñoz and Lola Herrera, alias Carmen Arranz, are making their comeback, accompanied by many newcomers who should give them a hard time.

Silvia, who is now the new director of the Carmen Arranz school, encounters great difficulties to save the establishment which is crumbling under debt and has great difficulty in recruiting new students. Times have changed, and young talents no longer wish to undertake long and costly studies to launch their careers.

It is in this context that Roberto arrives, straight back from the United States. He wants to stage a musical featuring the hits of UPA Dance with new students. After his reunion with Sylvia and Lola, Roberto will therefore try to convince his friends to organize new entrance exams in order to attract new talents, but also to put a spotlight on the school.

We’ve been waiting for this sequel to Un, Dos, Tres for a year, and we can say that this first episode did not disappoint us. If some issues seem similar to the original series (the school in financial difficulty, the penniless student who does not know how to pay for school, the privileged girl who loses all her fortune…), we let’s still take pleasure in finding the Carmen Arranz school, and especially Sylvia, Lola and Roberto, who have been cold for several years. Will they be able to put their differences aside to save the school?

Un, Dos, Tres: New Generation of course plays cheerfully on nostalgia but still offers a scenario that may appeal to a younger audience who has not necessarily watched the original series, in particular thanks to the new students, deeper and better constructed which will not fail to reserve their share of drama for us. And at a time when Elite and La Casa de Papel are on the rise, there is no doubt that UPA Next, which offers nudity and sex from the first episode, will succeed in finding its audience.

However, he will have to take his troubles patiently to discover the sequel to Un, dos, tres: New generation, since no date has yet been announced for the next 7 new episodes, whether in France or in Spain. See you in 2023!

For the most nostalgic, all six seasons of Un, dos, tres are already available on Salto. The six pellets Stories from UPAwhich introduce Un, dos, tres: New Generation are also live on the platform.
