(Reuters) – The United Nations Security Council on Monday transmitted to the UN admissions committee the Palestinian Authority’s request to become a full member of the international organization.
The representative of Malta, Vanessa Frazier, whose country chairs the Security Council this month, proposed that this admission committee meet Monday afternoon to consider this Palestinian request.
