At the heart of a shock plot around Mélissa’s rape, Enzo will do everything to help her in what she is going through. Teïlo Azaïs, his interpreter, confided in our microphone on what awaits his character in the sequel to Un si grand soleil.
For the past few days, Un si grand soleil has been tackling sexual violence in so-called ‘amateur’ pornography through the character of Mélissa (Hermine Granville). A shocking but necessary plot.
At the heart of this intrigue that leaves no one indifferent, Enzo, Melissa’s boyfriend. Teïlo Azaïs, the interpreter of the son of Florent, confided in our microphone on what awaits his character during the next episodes of the daily soap opera of France 2 and on the importance of highlighting this subject.
Allociné: Enzo is currently at the heart of the ark concerning the rape of Mélissa. What was your first reaction to reading the script?
Teïlo Azaïs: It’s a subject that we talk about very little and which is serious. You can easily get trapped. It is therefore important to highlight this subject to show that we must be careful.
How was filming with Hermine Granville?
Alright. We got along quickly. All the sequences were done quickly because the feeling was there.
How will Enzo react when he learns that Melissa has been raped?
A bit like any human being I think. He will freak out and want to find the culprits. From the beginning, he does not understand why she pushes him away without explanation. Learning what happened to Mélissa will touch him and he will want to do everything to help her.
How is he going to do it?
Enzo will ask for help from his father who will do what is necessary so that the police can arrest the culprits.
Before this drama, Enzo and Mélissa had started a love story. Despite this dramatic context, is reconciliation possible?
A reconciliation is possible between Enzo and Mélissa. If Mélissa hasn’t spoken to him yet about what she’s been through, it’s because it’s something difficult and personal. For his part, Enzo has nothing against her. By learning the truth, he will want to help her and when she accepts it, they will reconcile.
Having been trapped by Aurore in the past, is Enzo still able to trust and is he part of a real love story with Mélissa?
Enzo is a bit reserved but he gets along very well with Mélissa. He lives what he has to live with her, taking full advantage.
Mélissa will conduct an investigation parallel to that of the police, in particular by launching a call for witnesses. Will Enzo support him in this process?
Enzo will not participate but he will encourage him to do so. Thanks to this, Mélissa will meet a girl who has experienced much the same thing as her. Enzo then goes to ask Mélissa to meet her at Les Sauvages so that he can be there in case there is a problem. From there, Enzo will support Mélissa in everything she does.
Do you have any particular desires for the future Enzo?
I would like to play a thug and Enzo to do something stupid. Enzo is too nice and too calm. I came to the show feeling a bit angry and breaking everything. I would like to find this side of Enzo. A dark Enzo would be very cool.
Do you have any other projects apart from Un si grand soleil that you would like to tell us about?
I played in the film 16 ans by Philippe Lioret which was released in theaters on January 4th. I have the main role in it.
