The hour is serious in Un si grand soleil!

To help his gambling-addicted mother financially, Tom (Matéo Paitel) had no choice but to get into drug trafficking. If until now the teenager carried out his small business without incident, the police of Montpellier ended up discovering the goods which he stored in one of the lockers of the Flaubert high school.

By losing 6000 euros of goods, Tom was far from suspecting that this would lead him to betray Virgile (Fred Bianconi) in order to reimburse Yannis (Teddy Candela), his supplier. Not having the necessary sum, Tom will therefore put one of Virgile’s sailboats at the disposal of Yannis without talking to his boss. Of course, things will go wrong and Virgile will discover the truth.

And if until then the latter had taken it into his head to put Tom back on the right track, this new betrayal could be the last straw…

In an extract available on the France.tv platform, Virgil is angry with Tom. Indeed, the latter has just told him the truth about drug trafficking and the sailboat he lent to Yannis.

Furious, Virgil lectures him. “Me too I need money, that’s not why I’m going to sell drugs“, he launches before continuing, “No kidding. And the sailboat, you could have warned me too instead of taking me for a c**. Do not you believe ?“.

When Tom assures us that he wanted to do it but that he didn’t dare, Virgil points out to him that this hasn’t stopped him from selling drugs to “kids” who end up in the hospital or the morgue.

At worst, Tom retorts that he didn’t want to disappoint him. Unfortunately, this is too much for Virgil. “Not only did you disappoint me, but you betrayed me. I trusted you. You know what ? In fact, I should go to the cops and throw it all at them“.

While Tom is trying to find out if he is really going to do it, Virgile replies that it might allow him to take the measure of what he has just done. So that he stops chaining nonsense for money.

When Tom tells him that he did this only for his mother who has relapsed into her addictions, Virgile loses his temper then reminds him that he has been doing everything to help them since he entered their life.

Tom, who knows this well, ends up declaring to Virgil, “I know but here you have to help me. I do not know what to do…
