Friday April 12 in Un si grand soleil…
Catherine Laumière trapped Alain
As Alain has called off his day today, Élisabeth invites him to lunch but the doctor declines, claiming to have a meeting with the hospital.
Meanwhile, Boris calls his sister to wish her a happy birthday. While he offers to see her tonight to celebrate, she refuses because their father has already organized a dinner with friends. She would therefore like to postpone it until tomorrow, which he accepts.
For his part, the cybercrime expert informs François and Élisabeth that he is in contact with an employee of a competing company who could be behind the leak of the documents. Claudine then encourages him to explore this trail.
At the same time, Alain joins Ava at the hotel and asks her for explanations, otherwise he will file a complaint against her. The latter therefore confirms to him that she was hired to hack Elisabeth’s computer by a self-confident middle-class woman. Unfortunately, Ava does not know the identity of her interlocutor.
At nightfall, Ava calls Catherine and informs her that Alain has discovered the truth. However, she assures him that she has kept her identity secret. Catherine then asks him to leave Montpellier until things calm down. Ava accepts for a large sum of money, which is obviously not a problem for Catherine…
Arnaud learns the terrible news
In the morning, Anne advises her husband to tell his son the truth about his rejection. Although he had no desire to inflict this on him, Philippe ended up accepting.
For his part, Tom doesn’t understand why Thaïs gave up her job at the pizzeria to take care of the “little old people” and confides in Maéva. Thaïs, who passes in front of them, hears them discussing and immediately insults Tom. Dismayed by what he has just said, the young woman explains to him that it is a pleasure for her to take care of others before specifying that she feels useful.
After class, Thaïs does some shopping and goes to Philippe’s house. After discussing her future with him, she decides to make some pancakes for tonight’s meal. That’s when Arnaud arrives. Philippe therefore takes the opportunity to have a little private discussion with his son. Without beating around the bush, he tells her that his transplant has been rejected and that he is not a priority for a new procedure. Upset by the news, Arnaud struggles to contain his emotion. After going to the kitchen, he tells Thaïs the terrible news. The young woman then invites him to stay for dinner with them this evening to enjoy his father but Arnaud doesn’t want to.
At the end of the day, Philippe thanks Thaïs for the meal. However, the latter notices that she is not as usual. With tears in her eyes, Thaïs admits to him that Arnaud spoke to him about his state of health and that it affects him a lot.
Once Anne returns, Thaïs returns home. Before leaving, she confides to him that Philippe spoke to Arnaud. When she asks how long she has left to live, Anne tells her that the doctors cannot say. According to her, she has a few months left at best. Anne then adds that she wants the time they have left to be as pleasant and peaceful as possible and then thanks Thaïs for the help she gives her.
