MARC AND CHLOÉ GET CLOSE
Marc and Chloé continue to keep watch in front of Beaufort’s. The opportunity for Robin’s mother and Louis’ father to get to know each other better. Later, Marc returns home with a smile on his face, which his son did not miss.
The next morning, Chloe arrives at work exhausted and tells Cécile that she spent the night with Marc watching the Beaufort property. However, she clarifies to the judge that they have no intention of doing justice themselves and then confides how much she finds Marc sympathetic. Since Cécile smiles, Chloé launches that there is no ambiguity between them.
Not far from there, Elisabeth calls Evan because she has done market research on a private clinic in Toulouse. As Doctor Cresson wishes to extend his clientele to athletes, Elisabeth asks him to write a detailed file for the next day.
A few hours later, Chloé returns home and informs her husband that she is joining Marc to keep watch. Although he’s already told her what he thinks of his new nighttime activity, Evan begs her to be careful.
At the end of the day, Marc and Chloé watch the Beaufort site. While not much is happening, the journalist seems to particularly enjoy the company of Robin’s mother…
EVE MAKES A DISTURBING DISCOVERY
Eve is waiting for Manu outside his hotel. Once she asks him for forgiveness, she tells him how much she loves him and that she doesn’t want to lose him. Manu then cracks and kisses her passionately before leading her to her room.
After they have shared an intimate moment, Manu, who is concerned, questions Eve about her activity as a temptress. She then explains to him the workings of the trade and then swears that she has never taken action with her targets. Only, Manu struggles to overcome the fact that she lied to him for months. Being perfectly aware of having betrayed her trust, the French teacher apologizes again and says she is certain that they can overcome this ordeal. However, Manu is not sure if he wants to return.
Meanwhile, Aya informs Alex that Aline Delclos’ husband will come to the police station at the end of the day. Since he claims to have never heard of the Tempter Agency, Aya also summoned Eve for a confrontation.
For his part, Becker calls Claudine and accuses her of having set up an agency of tempters but above all of having involved Dimitri in this story. If the lawyer takes things lightly, she changes her tone when he tells her that Dimitri cheated on Sabine. And as much to say that Commissioner Becker is angry with his ex-wife for having screwed up their daughter’s happiness. While he plans to tell Sabine the truth, Claudine advises him against it because she is very happy with Dimitri. According to her, their son-in-law had a moment of bewilderment which does not deserve to screw up their relationship. To drive the point home, she reminds him that he was careful not to tell Janet that they had slept together before their marriage.
Later, Alex learns from Manu that he summoned Eve as part of the investigation into Aline’s death. With his friend upset, Alex tries to find out what’s wrong. Manu therefore tells him what happened earlier in the day. Lost, the policeman no longer knows what to do. No matter how much he cares for Eve, he can’t move on and doesn’t feel able to forgive her.
At the same time, Becker joins Sabine at the end of high school. When he asks how things are going with Dimitri at the moment, the maths teacher understands that his father has come to poke fun at him about the Delclos investigation. She therefore explains to him that she has known about the tempting agency since the beginning and that everything is fine with Dimitri. Since the latter left the agency, Sabine is happier and more relieved than ever.
At the end of the day, Eve goes to the police station where she attends the interrogation of Thibault Delclos behind the one-way glass. Only, the man she sees in front of her is not the one she met a few days earlier. To clarify this affair, Alex brings Eve into the interrogation room but Thibault Delclos does not recognize her either. Moreover, he affirms once again that he has never used a tempting agency. If the man in front of her is Aline’s husband, who could have usurped his identity?
