Manu is suspected
Patrice Angel died while in police custody. Becker suspects Manu of having made a mistake and questions the policeman. The latter, who continues to proclaim his innocence, assures him that he has not lost his temper after the departure of Angel’s lawyer.
Unfortunately, Manu was alone in the interrogation room and had cut off the camera. An autopsy is underway and an investigation by the IGPN has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the death. Pending the results, Manu is suspended. He is disappointed and hurt by Becker’s attitude.
Judge Alphand is informed of the death of Patrice Angel. She immediately announces the news to Christophe who asks her questions. Once gone, his companion, who is struggling to cope with the consequences of his actions, leaves to vomit. For her part, Johanna announces the terrible news to Eva, Patrice’s wife, who is upset.
The death of Patrice Angel is mentioned in the television news. Charles thinks he recognizes the man who was with Christophe in his office. Lost, he doesn’t know if he should go to the police. He is afraid of losing his job if his suspicions were to prove unfounded.
Prosecutor Bernier goes to Becker’s office to ask him for an explanation. According to the first findings of Hugo, the medical examiner, Angel would not have suffered violence and his death would be linked to his operation carried out during his run.
Bernier fears that they will be criticized for having questioned Patrice without taking into account his state of health. He’s counting on Becker to sort this thing out. Christophe and Cécile end up meeting and sharing an intimate moment.
Kira is heartbroken
Coming out of class, Louis congratulates Kira who has made progress in tennis. He suggests that she take lessons more regularly. The young girl, who still harbors the secret hope that Louis will fall in love with her, invites him for a drink at the end of the afternoon in order to discuss it, but Louis declines because he is not available.
It was then that Lili joined Louis and thanked him for standing up for her in philosophy class. Then, she kisses him in front of Kira. Louis and Lili are officially a couple. Thais, who sees her new friend hurt and sad, decides to change her mind and offers her to go to the beach.
The young woman supports Kira in her love troubles and advises her to go out with older and therefore more mature boys. For his part, Damien, the new philosophy teacher is at the center of the attention of his female colleagues.
Claire and Florent finish the last boxes. They move out the next morning. That’s when Florent receives a call from Enzo. He offers his son to come and finish his boxes, but Enzo declines. He asks his father to leave them at the apartment, he will pick them up to put them at his mother’s. Florent then understands that his son will not return to live with them.
