Janet refuses to press charges against Claire
Following the dismissal declared by the investigating judge against Janet, the management of the hospital plans to prosecute Claire for slanderous denunciation. Guilhem tries to convince Janet that it is important for her to file a complaint against Claire because this affair could have damaged her career as well as the reputation of the hospital.
But Janet wants to turn the page and refuses to push Claire, the nurse having shown sincerity to the end. Claire, meanwhile, plans to resign, consumed by guilt for having rekindled the pain of Karine’s mother by making her undergo the exhumation of her daughter’s body.
Hélène announces her colleague’s intentions to Alain, who believes that Claire’s departure would be a great loss for the hospital.
