Monday January 3 in Un si grand soleil…
MANU IS BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH
After shooting Manu, Orsan fled. For his part, Virgil immediately rushes to his friend and transports him in his car to drive him to the hospital. While the policeman is at his worst, Virgil is driving fast on the highway and begs him to stay awake. Unfortunately, Manu loses consciousness.
In the hospital parking lot, Virgil cleans his prints from the vehicle. After having activated the rotating beacon, he goes away, leaving the door open. Alerted by the siren, David, Hélène and Doctor Lewis quickly take charge of Captain Léoni. The latter having hemorrhagic shock, Janet contacts her husband to warn him that his colleague is in serious condition and then advises him to come.
Manu has spent six hours in the operating room and Becker is unable to tell his teams if he will be okay. He then summons Alex, Yann, Élise and Akim to do everything possible to find the culprit.
On hearing the news, Camille burst into tears. Accompanied by her mother, the teenager arrives at the hospital. Doctor Lewis tells them that Manu had a cardiopulmonary arrest during the operation and that he is in a coma. At this stage, the doctors are unable to comment on his state of health. When Camille seeks to know if her father can die, Janet does not answer then indicates to Laetitia that she will contact her at the slightest change. At worst, Camille collapses in her mother’s arms and feels guilty for the hurtful remarks she made towards her father.
For her part, Eve is informed by Sabine who accompanies her to the hospital. Once Virgil has joined her, the doctors inform them that they do not know if Manu will be okay …
MYRIAM IS TAKING NAUSEA
Stressed at the idea of taking up her duties as the new deputy general manager, Myriam is slightly uneasy before going to work. Attributing this to the pressure, Fred tries to reassure her before teaching her a breathing exercise to relieve the stress.
Later, Elisabeth reunites her teams and announces the appointment of Myriam, which does not please Gary at all, who regrets never having had such an opportunity in three years at L. Cosmetics.
Thereafter, Myriam is in the middle of a discussion with Elisabeth when she is nauseous. In the afternoon, she joins Claire aux Sauvages and confides in her friend about her state of health. If she blames her discomfort and nausea on stress, Claire advises her to take a pregnancy test instead.
