Monday, January 31 in Such a big sun…
LUCILLE AND DAVID SERVE EACH OTHER IN THEIR BOOTY
Lucille and David are at the warehouse where the money is hidden. After making sure that the bag was still there, the nurse takes some notes in order to pay his taxes. When he hands the journalist a thousand euros, she hesitates but ends up taking them. For his part, Mo has spent a good part of the morning with Joël and is off to work.
Meanwhile, Yann continues his investigation. After questioning a bartender and a grocer, the cop returns to the precinct and then tells Becker that Lucille, Mo, and David partied at a bar all night. Insofar as the three friends were certainly very tipsy that evening, the superintendent finds it hard to believe that they could have climbed a facade to rob the retiree. He therefore asks Yann to bring him solid elements and to see with Akim if he can obtain additional information thanks to his companion.
At the end of the day, Maryline tries to convince Akim to forgive Lucille. Only, the latter is only ready to do it if his companion assumes what she has done. In the hope of patching them up, the roommate’s tenant then contacts Lucille, but she does not seem open to discussion.
As night falls, Lucille has a new dream in which she is partying with Jérôme, a former patient of Janet.
JANET’S DEPARTMENT IS ASKED TO SAVE PERSONNEL
The hospital audit shows that Dr. Lewis’ department is the most heavily staffed. If Janet stresses that we cannot compare internal medicine with emergencies and even less with pediatrics, the director of the establishment still wants her to reduce her staff. Knowing that this will be to the detriment of the quality of care, Dr. Lewis would like to take the time to reflect before making a proposal.
Subsequently, Janet asks Hélène to prepare a provisional schedule for her until next summer with three fewer nurses and four nursing auxiliaries. As Hélène tries to find out if she intends to lay off, Janet tells her that the management wants to reduce the workforce and free up beds. By showing a schedule that proves that they can’t get by without a full team, Janet hopes to have more arguments to negotiate. Unfortunately, Yasmine hears their discussion and the rumor of a restructuring does not take long to circulate.
Worried about her future, Jennifer fears that she will be the first to be transferred to another department since she is the last to arrive. When she indicates that she plans to ask for her transfer to a psychiatric unit on the other side of the city, Arthur is disappointed. Worried, the young man confides in Alain who thinks that the restructuring will take time. According to him, Jennifer will be a nurse by then.
