JAMES TUE MELISSA
Mélissa is proud to have stood up to James and no longer intends to let it go. Besides, she does not plan to withdraw her complaint and intends to make him pay for everything he has done to her. While Inès fears that James will come back to the charge, Mélissa replies that he can always try. Now feeling stronger and determined to get her life back together, Mélissa plans to leave the campsite to find an apartment.
Later, Mélissa receives a call from Amber. As she is no longer sure she wants to file a complaint against James, Mélissa manages to convince her to do so to prevent her from making new victims. The two young women therefore meet at the end of the day to discuss. At this moment, Mélissa is far from suspecting that James is pulling the strings and that he has put pressure on Amber to get her out of hiding.
Mélissa then goes to the LG office where Florent tells her that the police are going to close the case without further action. A blow for Melissa. However, the lawyer does not intend to give up and intends to reopen the instruction. Knowing full well that Mélissa wants to go to the end of this investigation, Florent reminds her that it is not up to her to obtain evidence. Not only is it dangerous, but it could also backfire. He therefore enjoins him not to take initiatives.
Shortly after, Mélissa calls Enzo to tell him that the police closed his complaint for lack of evidence. Despite everything, the young woman wants to fight to win her case. She therefore entrusts Enzo that she must meet Amber after work to convince her to file a complaint. She also makes him promise not to tell his father.
At the police station, Commissioner Becker instructs Captain Léoni to intervene as quickly as possible in the Lys district because a new deal point has just been set up there. For her part, Aya is upset to see that so many people are being deployed on this file when they have just closed a rape case without further action. Immediately, Becker puts her in her place and then demands that she do as asked.
As night falls, Mélissa arrives at the meeting place. However, it is not Amber who shows up but James. When Melissa tries to find out what he did to her, James grabs her by the collar and tells her that she is now alone. When Mélissa shouts that he won’t be able to stop them all from talking, he puts his hand over her mouth as if to prove her wrong. In a threatening tone, James then says that he will teach her to shut up.
A few minutes later, the photographer, who is in a daze, cleans his hands in the sea. Indeed, James has just killed Mélissa, whose lifeless body lies a few steps away…
ULYSSE HEARS GOOD NEWS
While Hélène struggles to recover from her separation from Christian, Alix is furious at having been manipulated so easily.
At Christian’s request, Alix organizes a photo session because he needs pictures for the Definod sale. While they pretend to be accomplices, Christian begs her not to do too much either. Once the session is over, Christian looks at the file with the photo prints of the original works of Ulysses. When he asks her to find out the name of the artist, Alix sends her on a walk before closing the file.
Although she was duped, Alix nevertheless feels that she now has enough cash to really launch into her gallery with real works. Looking at the boards of Ulysses, she is thrilled by what she sees and therefore offers him to exhibit his works in his gallery. If Ulysses can’t believe it, Alix insists, she wants to exhibit her paintings, organize a vernissage and call the press. After she offers to drop by the next day to discuss the details, Odysseus accepts.
For her part, Hélène calls Christian to apologize to him for having got angry with him the day before. Delighted to hear it, Christian is far from suspecting that Hélène trains in a shooting center and that the target she is aiming for is in her likeness.
