Mathieu tries to reconnect with Myriam
Without hearing from Myriam for several days, Mathieu languishes with his editor-in-chief. He regrets having offered to have dinner with his son Louis, and fears that it scared him away. His boss then advises him to fight and ask him for an explanation, so that he can move on more quickly.
In the evening, Mathieu therefore waits for Myriam in front of her house and begs her to speak to him. Myriam ends up accepting and lets him into his home. She admits to him that she wants to start a family, and knowing that it won’t be possible with him, she preferred to cut ties before getting too attached.
Amused, Mathieu replies that she never asked him the question, and that he doesn’t close any doors. But for now, he wants to take time for them to get to know each other, and his proposed trip to Rome would be the perfect opportunity. Myriam accepts, satisfied…
A fire breaks out at the Senso
At the Senso, as preparations for the evening take shape, Alix is increasingly upset by the hate messages that continue to flood the club’s social media, and fears for their long-term reputation.
For her part, Sabine calls Johanna to tell her that she finally doesn’t want to go to the Senso party anymore, for fear of running into Dimitri again like during the inauguration. Johanna convinces him that she must instead go there in order to confront him once and for all, and tell him how she feels. Sabine reluctantly agrees.
Arrived at the club, Sabine sees Dimitri and, pushed by her friend, approaches him and offers him a drink to apologize for having fled when she last saw him. Both return to their breakup: for Sabine, Dimitri’s family situation was far too complicated at that time with the death of his ex-wife, and she could not find her place in front of her daughter, Billie, who blamed him for the accident in which his mother died.
But for Dimitri, on the contrary, it was Sabine who took fright and fled before the possibility of being happy as a couple. Hurt, the teacher walks away and warns Johanna of her intention to leave the party. But as she turns on her heels, she spills her drink on Maxime, Dimitri’s client.
Confused, Sabine excuses herself and helps him wipe the alcohol off his shirt. Both then begin to sympathize jokingly, and end up having a drink together. It was then that smoke spread from the kitchens of the club, a frying pan full of oil having caught fire on the hobs. The fire alarm goes off, and all customers are evacuated to the parking lot.
While Alix warns the firefighters, she doesn’t know if anyone is still trapped inside. Determined, Virgile heads inside the club to brave the flames…
