JOHANNA IS DESTROYED
Johanna was summoned to court. On the spot, Florent assures the prosecutor Bernier that the accusations against his client are false. The lawyer then specifies that Johanna never paid Marius to give false testimony and that she does not know him. However, Maître Lemeur’s fadettes prove the opposite since a call did indeed take place between Johanna and Gérald’s employee. Given the first elements in his possession, prosecutor Bernier therefore has no other choice than to indict Johanna for witness tampering and complicity in testimony. He also seized the Council of the Bar Association to request a temporary suspension of exercise. Hearing this, Johanna is devastated.
Back home, she receives a call from Claudine. In tears, the young woman tells him that she has been indicted and suspended from her duties. According to her, Milo is certainly hiding behind this whole story. Upset, she confides that she has the feeling of losing everything. Claudine then promises to do everything to get her out of there. Johanna thanks her.
At the police station, Aya tries to understand what the problem is between Yann and Johanna. It must be said that the policewoman found her colleague particularly aggressive with her during her interrogation. In a half-word, Lieutenant Cross ends up specifying that they had a story. No longer recognizing him, Aya accuses him of investigating, but Yann reminds him that they have two testimonies that overwhelm him. Aya then points out to him that it is possible that these two people could have agreed on a version. A hypothesis that Yann unfortunately did not consider.
For his part, Milo can’t take any more of all these stories of legionellosis, air conditioning, intoxication and false testimony. Wishing to quickly get out of all this, the contractor is obliged to accept the conciliation of the hospital and to compensate the hospital as well as the Cresson family. As he is terribly angry with Johanna for having put him in this mess, Master Levars advises him to make her pay. He therefore offers her not to file a complaint against her or her firm, provided that she takes out the checkbook.
Not far from there, Gérald receives a call from the police station which informs him that Marius has confessed that he had been paid to tell anything about him. Reassembled, Gérald struggles to understand how his employee could betray him for money. For Yasmine, what matters is that everyone knows he has nothing to reproach himself for. Now cleared, Gérald will be able to move on.
At nightfall, Claudine and Alix have a drink in a bar. The opportunity for the lawyer to rejoice to see that her scheme works perfectly. Not only is Johanna devastated but she will now be able to save her the day thanks to her beloved attorney and then get everything she wants.
At the same time, Gérald is waiting for Marius in front of his house to get some explanations. The latter then declares that it was not against him. Taken by the throat financially and risking being evicted from his accommodation, he assures that he had no choice. When Gerald asks him how much he was paid to screw up his life, Marius doesn’t answer.
MÉLISSA FINDS A SECOND JOB
Enzo and Mélissa have spent the night together and are particularly complicit when they wake up.
While leaving for work, Melissa stops to withdraw money but loses her smile when she discovers that her account is empty. Arriving at 101, the young woman asks Inès to help her out with €50, which she accepts.
To overcome her financial problems, Mélissa starts looking for a second job and then comes across the advertisement of a photographer who is looking for models with no experience required. If Inès is suspicious, Mélissa has a friend who paid for her studies in this way without ever having had any problems. After promising her colleague to be careful, Mélissa sends a message to the photographer.
A few hours later, she meets James who introduces himself as a freelance photographer working for pubs, women’s magazines and even fashion sites. Once he shows her his work on his phone, James offers to give her a tryout to see how she picks up light.
During the session, Mélissa relaxes more and more. James makes her take off her bag and then her jacket before asking her to play with her dress. At the end of the shoot, James indicates that she has potential and then asks for her agreement to present the photos to her clients, which she accepts. Believing that she has potential, James then promises to contact her again for a new session.
Meanwhile, Florent questions Enzo about his new girlfriend. Understanding that it was Kira who spilled the beans, the young man begs him not to get carried away because he doesn’t know where this story with Mélissa will lead him. In the meantime, he intends to take advantage of it.
At the end of the day, Mélissa joins Enzo and shows him her photos. Finding her magnificent, he would like to know what she intends to do with these shots. Mélissa therefore indicates that she will try to land shoots for brands on social networks. To celebrate, she invites him to dinner at the restaurant.
