MARGOT FINDS IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE TO INNOCENT AKIM
In the early morning, Margot and Akim run on the beach. The opportunity for the young woman to discuss her resignation. In fact, Margot slammed the door of the BGL office the day before and has no intention of setting foot there again.
Meanwhile, Johanna goes to the cemetery to prepare Guilhem’s funeral which will take place the next day. The latter will be buried in a family plot. If this moment is particularly difficult for her, Johanna can count on Yann’s unfailing support.
Not far from there, Margot and Akim meet the lawyer in charge of the police officer’s defense. Maître Bauchère has just received the investigation file and as nothing yet proves the thesis of self-defense, they will unfortunately have to find proof to exonerate him. Margot therefore asks for a copy of the file.
At the office, Florent cannot help but find the premises particularly empty since the disappearance of Guilhem and the resignation of Margot. Certain that the young woman’s departure is not irreversible, Florent suggests that Claudine put things straight and talk with her. However, Claudine categorically refuses. Indeed, the lawyer believes that the behavior of the young woman was unacceptable but above all incompatible with the management of the firm.
At the same time, Margot studies Akim’s file. Looking at the list of calls received by Estelle, she notices that Guilhem’s fiancée had a 9-minute telephone conversation with Carine almost at the time of the tragedy. Margot then arranges to meet Carine in a café who then explains to her that it was a voice message. When Margot asks to listen to her, Carine accepts.
Back home, Margot plays Akim the voice message left on Carine’s answering machine in which we hear what really happened that evening. From now on, Margot has irrefutable proof that Akim did indeed act in self-defense.
LUDO MAKES A MAJOR DECISION
The Montpellier police have set up a large-scale system to set a trap for motorcycle thieves with the complicity of port employees. Shortly after, Alex calls out two men.
Back at the police station, Alex questions one of the suspects who admits to robbing Sandra’s store as well as other concessions in the area. When Alex shows him a photo of Jade, the man says he has never seen her.
Although Jade is now out of the blame, Élise still wants to lock her up. Alex tries to make her believe that she hasn’t been in Montpellier for a long time but without success. Indeed, the policewoman thinks that Sandra can help them find her.
Afterwards, Alex calls Ludo and informs him that they have arrested the person responsible for the motorcycle theft. Although he is relieved, the young man loses his smile when Alex tells him that Elise is continuing the research despite everything. Realizing that she is putting herself in danger by staying in Montpellier, Jade sees no other solution than to leave.
Ludo, who has thought a lot about the situation for his part, decides to leave with her but Jade refuses because he has his whole life in Montpellier. Only, Ludo doesn’t want to make the same mistake as last time and has no desire to lose her. He therefore leaves him no choice. Touched, Jade kisses him then tells him how much she loves him. Will Ludo go on the run?
