LAURINE WINS THE CAUSE
Janet is particularly tense because today is the day she has to speak to Laurine. As the father of the young woman threatens to sue them, Janet will therefore have to calm things down.
Passing Laurine in the corridors of the hospital, Janet takes the opportunity to tell her that there has been a little misunderstanding between them. When she reminds him that she asked him to leave the service anyway, Janet leads him to believe that she did this only for his own good. With irony, Doctor Lewis even goes so far as to tell her that she finds it very strong to want to continue working with Doctor Cresson after all that has happened. And to add that if she were to encounter other problems in the service, that she does not hesitate to come and see her.
Janet then calls Evan. After checking in on him, she informs him that Laurine will be staying on the ward. Immediately, Evan therefore understands that the management of the hospital has been under pressure. If Janet recognizes that this story has put the establishment in a delicate situation, however, she assures that the main thing is that they avoid prosecution. Understanding, Evan thanks his superior for having warned him. When she asks if the situation will be manageable for him, Evan replies that he will deal with it.
Meanwhile, Marc struggles to recover from his breakup with Chloe. Depressed, the journalist confides in Jacques and says he is convinced that Chloé got back together with her husband only because someone shot her. According to him, she made a bad choice and she will eventually come back. Jacques then advises him to move on, but Marc can’t.
In the evening, Evan tells his wife that Laurine is going to stay in the service. Since he is seriously considering changing departments or even hospitals to avoid creating tension, Chloe certifies that this is not a problem for him. Since he’s already slept with her, she doesn’t see what could be worse. Chloé is therefore not worried, especially since their couple is indestructible.
Not far from there, Laurine is jubilant to have won her case. However, Boris urges her not to bring her back with their father too much. According to him, he would not have appreciated having to call his lawyers to save him the day.
THE BEHAVIOR OF CLAIRE WORRIES FLORENT
In the early morning, Claire receives a call from Hélène who informs her that she has found something strange in the accounts of the Savages. In 2022, there was about €10,000 in cash receipts per month. Since 2023, it has increased to €15,000, which is not consistent since Victor has always told his daughter that attendance has dropped. Hélène therefore wonders if he would not have injected cash himself with the money from the stolen computers they found in his premises. Although they have a hard time imagining Victor in this kind of traffic, the two women go to the hut to question the employees. Unfortunately, Emma and Enzo have nothing more to teach them.
Shortly after, Hélène receives a phone call and warns Claire that she has to leave. Convinced that her worst enemy is hiding something from her, the nurse decides to shadow her and follows her to a shopping mall. On the spot, however, Claire quickly loses track of her.
For her part, Hélène finds Ulysses and Alix at the workshop. Alix then takes the opportunity to tell them that she has found the owner who will hide their painting. This is Jérôme Dupuis, an arrogant character according to the gallery owner. A news that delights Hélène because she prefers that a bad guy takes care of that.
At nightfall, Florent surprises Claire doing research on GPS trackers. Indeed, she intends to equip herself well to be able to spy on Hélène. When Florent points out that it’s illegal, Claire replies that she has no choice. It’s her only way to find out if her former friend is kidnapping her father. For Florent, she should go to the police instead, but she refuses to go there without proof. Worried, he launches as his behavior really starts to scare him.
