Wednesday March 27 in Un si grand soleil…

Bernier and Eliott are incarcerated

In the morning, Muriel gets ready to leave to visit a studio. When Manu offers to drop her off somewhere, the young woman refuses. Worried, the police officer wants to know if she has enough money to meet her needs. After she confirms that yes, Manu tells her that Eliott will be heard today by prosecutor Picard and that they will know more about his future following his hearing. However, having accumulated many charges against him, Eliott risks 4 months to 4 years in prison. A hard blow for the young mother.

At the police station, the police organized a confrontation between prosecutor Bernier and Patrice Bienvenu. Obviously, the latter makes it appear that he never put pressure on his friend to prevent him from opening an investigation against Fertilizer Plus. He even goes so far as to specify that he has nothing to reproach himself for despite the malicious rumors.

To defend himself, Bernier tells his story. A few years ago, the prosecutor acquired a bastide, a magnificent 18th century building backed by arable land. If the price was reasonable, the cost of the work to renovate it was very high. As his borrowing capacity was insufficient, Patrice Bienvenu offered to help him by paying the invoices amounting to 150,000 euros through his company. Which constitutes an abuse of social good. While Patrice Bienvenu denies the facts, Bernier explains to Commissioner Becker that it is enough to contact the company which was responsible for the masonry of the building to obtain the invoices in the name of Engrais plus.

Later, Michel Picard said he was happy to be able to close this file. Mr. Bienvenu will be charged with official corruption and poisoning, and the victims will be compensated.

Meanwhile, Élise calls Élodie and tells her that Patrice Bienvenu has been arrested.

Not far from there, prosecutor Picard informs Eliott that he will be referred and indicted for his escape abroad. He will also have to serve his sentence for cases prior to this escape. The suspended sentences have expired and the sentence enforcement judge will rule on this subject.

However, Michel Picard assures that the prosecution will be content to request a sentence in principle given its collaboration with the police services. Eliott therefore hopes that he will finally be free when he leaves prison.

Before he goes to prison, Commissioner Becker lends him his cell phone. The latter then immediately calls Muriel to tell her that he will be brought before the judge and then incarcerated. As she appears cold towards him, he asks her for news about Thomas but she continues to remain distant. Once he tells her he is sorry, Eliott questions her to see if she will come see him in prison. Only, Muriel doesn’t know it yet. Moved, Eliott declares that he loves them both and that he does not want to lose them. For her part, Muriel replies that she no longer knows where she is before hanging up.

Alain cheats on Elisabeth

Instead of moping around alone at home, Alain decided to go to the Opera. And the doctor even managed to sell Elisabeth’s place on an online auction site.

In the morning, the doctor receives a call from Elisabeth who tells him how much it breaks her heart to know that he is depressed. While she thinks he’s being sullen because of the opera, Alain reminds her that that’s not the problem. He then calmly explains to her that she is putting her priorities where they shouldn’t be. Unfortunately, Alain can’t tell him anything more since his partner receives another call that she absolutely must answer.

At the end of the day, Alain goes to the opera and meets Ava, the woman who bought him the ticket.

A few hours later, they left the opera with their eyes full of stars. Alain and Ava then get to know each other and suffice to say that the flow goes rather well between them. It must be said that they seem to have a few things in common and more particularly a common passion for opera.

Shortly after, Ava walks Alain to his car. As she refuses to start, she offers to take him home, which he accepts. On the way, Alain tells Ava that he has a 1947 lyrical recording of La Gioconda with Maria Callas. When Ava invites herself to listen to him at his house, he has no real choice but to accept.

When he arrives home, Alain turns on the music and serves him a glass of wine. After drinking the whole bottle, Ava confides to him that she is incapable of driving again and that she does not have the slightest desire to do so before kissing him. Alain reveals to her that he doesn’t live alone but Ava doesn’t care. As she suggests opening a little break, Alain finally succumbs to temptation.
