While the plot against a background of ecology is in full swing in “Un Si Grand Soleil” and a fire has just broken out on the construction site of the real estate project, Sylvain Boccara tells us more about the future of Louis and the Mourre family.
AlloCiné: Are you happy with the evolution of Louis, your character, since his arrival in Such a Great Sun ?
Sylvain Boccara: Yes, very happy. At first, I had no idea what to expect. But ultimately there are plenty of interesting circles, be it friends, high school, family. And the love story with Kira (Coline Ramos-Pinto) is very cool. I also loved the ecological plot, which is currently being broadcast. I am quite militant in life, in other fights in particular, so I enjoyed exploring all that with my character.
You were talking about the plot of the moment. Precisely, ready to do anything to save his grandfather’s land, Louis decided to warn about the danger of the real estate project piloted by the Laumière and Elisabeth Bastide property company, and ended up posting a video which quickly ignited the powder. How will the situation evolve?
Louis will not be discouraged at all, it will make him want to go further. He will feel that people can easily censor themselves, and he doesn’t want that. He could well throw other cobblestones into the water.
The idea of organizing a demonstration will be refused, but Louis will then try to enter the site by force, which will give rise to a second viral video. Unfortunately, because of all this, Léonor, her mother, will face pressure at L Cosmétiques from Elisabeth Bastide. And shortly after, a fire will break out on the site, and a charred body will be found. This will go far enough…
Is Louis really responsible for the fire?
Louis will be suspected and will go into custody. But no, he is not responsible for this fire.
He still has a knack for finding himself in complicated situations. We remember the whole story around Myriam’s death last year…
Yes, he obviously likes it (laughs). It almost looks like he does it on purpose. Everyone seems to think he’s looking for trouble.
Will he be able to count on the support of his family and friends in this ordeal? Or will some of his relatives doubt him?
His parents are really supportive. There will be some tensions on the side of Kira’s family because Florent wants to help him but does not like Louis’ way of doing things to be heard in this story. But, at the same time, it will help to create a relationship between Florent and Louis. Florent will understand Louis’ point of view, while my character will end up reasoning with himself.

Will Louis do everything to find out who is really responsible for the fire?
He is very disturbed by all this, but he censors himself, he is not going to investigate, because I think all this brings back bad memories. But he thinks about it, it’s a case he’s going to have a hard time getting out of his mind, and he’s going to be amazed when he finds out the truth about the fire and the identity of the person behind it. this act.
Beyond this plot, what can you say about what awaits Louis and his band of friends in the weeks and months to come?
I do not know. There’s a back-to-school plot around drug trafficking in high school, but it mostly concerns teenagers who are about to enter 12th grade. As for our characters, I just know there’s a yearning on the writers’ side for this tape to become a bit more adult. So maybe there will be more storylines outside of high school.
I also know that Louis will soon find a side job alongside high school, but I don’t know any more. When he arrived in the series, he had a taste for computers, maybe we’ll come back to that. But recently the authors also wrote that Louis loved the theater, so maybe he will become an actor, or he will evolve in this universe. I imagined tracks but the production doesn’t tell me anything (laughs).
Have you started filming in the new high school setting, which is now fully recreated in the studio against a green screen?
Not as much as the new generation of teenagers who are about to enter 12th grade, like Achille and Tom, but yes, I’ve already shot a few scenes in this new setting. It’s a little disturbing, I preferred the other decor, outdoors. It’s different in the studio, we shoot with two cameras instead of one outdoors. But you also learn, it’s good to try new things. And I think that we will get used to it little by little and that it will end up being super pleasant to evolve in this new setting.

What about the Mourre family? Do new adventures await Marc, Léonor and Louis?
What I can say is that there is love in the air (laughs). Léonor will have a new companion, whom Louis will completely accept. It’s quite different from what he felt at the time, when Marc was in a relationship with Myriam. Quite simply because he had more conflicting relations with his father, that he saw him as someone who was more fickle, I think. There, Louis is really happy to see his mother rebuilding her life and he totally accepts this new relationship.
You are happy to shoot more family scenes again with Maeva Pasquali And Cesar Meric ?
Yes, I’m delighted. The writers like this family and wanted them to come back more on the screen.
Do you have wishes for Louis?
I really like comedy, the moments of embarrassment that I have been able to play a little in the past. I would like his left side, which we saw during his slow rapprochement with Kira, to exist again, and not only in this romantic relationship.
And then I like to explore the activist side of Louis, it’s quite in tune with my age, with who I am and with the young generation of today. I hope it will be further developed.
Do you have any projects outside of the series?
I want to make short films, I wrote some, I proposed some, in particular one on overconsumption. We stay in the political stakes (laughs). I also have theater projects. And I make music, I have a band called Fürtybia.
