Un Si Grand Soleil: “Manu will replace Becker at the police station” reveals Moïse Santamaria

Suspended as part of the ongoing investigation, Becker will be replaced by Manu as commissioner in the next episodes of “Un Si Grand Soleil”. Moïse Santamaria tells us more about what awaits his cop character.

A storm will fall on the police station in the next episodes of Un Si Grand Soleil. And if one of the characters will find themselves on the sidelines following the tragedy that occurred during the expulsion of Carine (Alika Del Sol) and Maeva (Marie Fèvre), another will see their career take an unexpected turn.

“Manu will have to temporarily replace Becker and will become acting commissioner”indeed revealed to us Moïse Santamaria in an interview during the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

This reversal of the situation will take place next week in Un Si Grand Soleil, when the death of Vincent, Maeva’s uncle, will occupy everyone’s mind and put the Montpellier police station in the sights of public opinion, the media. and the IGPN. Asking the question: did an error in command, or a fault committed by a police officer, lead to the tragic death that occurred during the expulsion?

Becker suspended by the IGPN, Manu takes his place during the investigation

As part of its investigation, the IGPN will suspend Commissioner Clément Becker (Yvon Back) as a precaution. And it is therefore Manu who will have the difficult task of resuming his post in the interim. A new mission which the cop embodied by Moïse Santamaria would have obviously done well.

“He is not going to live it well because he is a guy on the ground, and there is a form of honor in him”explains the interpreter of Manu. “He prefers to have this title because he deserves it, or at least when the time comes, rather than acting. And especially not by taking the place of another. It’s not very rewarding. There Manu becomes commissioner because Becker is put aside”.

Viewers of the France 2 soap opera will however have the opportunity to discover, thanks to this plot, Manu in a new light, as a team leader who must give orders to his colleagues: “We will see his relationship with his colleagues, the way he manages to give them orders, and a certain form of awkwardness. It’s interesting to play”.

What future for Manu and Eve in Un Si Grand Soleil?

In parallel with all this, it will certainly be necessary to wait for the start of the school year, and the return of Eve (Emma Colberti) to high school, to discover what the authors have in store for the Manu-Eve couple on a more personal level.

“Life will resume its course”explains Moïse Santamaria, who teases some scenes of complicity to come for Manu and Eve, who recently got back together after separating during the ark on the agency of tempters.

“It seems that we are on a ground of great complicity on the last things that we shot. Even us in our game. They pass stages, they become very accomplices. We are witnessing that for the moment, it does not There are no adventures, compromising situations for the couple that are planned. But keep watching the series because it could happen (laughs)”.

Moïse Santamaria says he is in any case very happy with this relationship, born of the meeting, rather surprising on paper, of Manu and Eve after very complicated past stories on one side or the other.

“Their meeting is a reconstruction, for both of them. He after going off the road and all that he has been through with Elsa, she after events in her life. Both are mature people who have already an experience of love and life, which will rise together. And which no longer want certain things. And that was reflected in the alliance of our two characters. They have a rather passionate relationship , quite carnal, but there is also a lot of friendship and benevolence between them”.
