Un si grand soleil (spoilers): Did Jacques survive his suicide attempt?

This Tuesday August 9 in Un si grand soleil (8:45 p.m., France 2), the fate of Jacques Mourre is revealed and the news is not good. For her part, Claudine finds a ploy to spend more time with Alain.

This Tuesday August 9 in Un si grand soleil, Myriam (Pauline Paolini) learns that Jacques had a car accident while she is talking with Elisabeth (Chrystelle Labaude). As she expected, his boss is angry at his decision to file a complaint against Jacques Mourre (Olivier Pages) without consulting her. But their discussion is cut short after the call from Marc (César Méric)… At the hospital, the latter is waiting for news with Louis (Sylvain Boccara) and Léonor (Maéva Pasquali), and it’s Janet (Tonya Kinzinger) who comes to tell them that his father is suffering from severe head trauma and internal bleeding. When Elise (Malya Roman) talks to Marc about the accident, she explains that there was no no witnesses, and that the analyzes did not report any impairment of his father’s abilities. She then suggests that he made a suicide attempt…

For his part, Louis makes his mother listen to the message that his grandfather left him by admitting thathe feels a lot of guilt. The teenager is convinced that if he had answered his grandfather, the latter might not have tried to kill himself. When Léonor takes Louis back to his father, the young man says he is too upset with Myriam to go home. But his mother manages to convince him to go and, as soon as her son gets out of the car, breaks down and bursts into tears, consumed by her own guilt after reporting Jacques to the police. On returning, Louis immediately attacks his father and Myriam and balances them that he hopes they will never have children before slamming the door.

Will Alain cheat on Elisabeth with Claudine?

Meanwhile, Claudine (Catherine Wilkening) reveals Blamont’s scam to extort money from Doctor Alphand (Frédéric van den Driessche) by going to the scene of the accident. She finds a witness who tells him that Blamont just fell, and that Alain even tried to help him but got kicked out. She then calls her client to tell him that they are going to file a complaint against Blamont for false testimony and attempted fraud and that it is the latter who will end up paying her the money. When Levars (Laurent Frattale) announces this to his own client, Blamont breaks down. And it doesn’t get any better when he talks about it with Gary (Alban Aumard) and he discovers that it’s his friend who, without knowing that he was talking to Alphand’s lawyer, talked about his fall of her stepladder… Me Becker has indeed more than one trick up her sleeve, and she still uses her charms the same evening to continue to seduce Alain. Even if he remains cautious, the doctor finds it difficult to remain indifferent and this begins to cause trouble in his relationship with Elisabeth…
