Un si grand soleil (spoilers): Hélène is exonerated and Bernier protects the interests of a friend

On February 22 in Un si grand soleil (France 2, 8:45 p.m.), Romain escapes the police, and resistance is organized behind Bernier’s back.

As Romain (Nicolas Baisin) prepares to inject a product into Hélène’s (Sophie Le Tellier) IV, she recognizes him and begins to scream. Thierry (Nicolas Gérout) rushes and aims his gun at Romain who manages to escape. Laurine (Léa Gillard) comes to Hélène’s aid and understands that she has been abused by her lover. She communicates the coordinates of her hotel to the police but Elise (Malya Roman) and Yann (Constantin Balsan) arrive too late.

Later, she is questioned at the police station by Yann and tells him how she was tricked by Romain. When debriefing everything with Boris (Jules Bahloul), she feels guilty for having been so naive.

Claire (Mélanie Maudran) and Janet (Tonya Kinzinger) treat Hélène whose arm was damaged after she tore off her perf. All three are delighted with the outcome of this affair and the proof of Hélène’s innocence.

Bernier hushes up the Fertilizer Plus affair

Bernier (Franck Adrien) discusses current affairs with his deputy, Michel Picard (Nathan Dellemme), including that concerning Christian’s death. The two magistrates agree that, given the latest events, the judge should drop the charges against Hélène. Then, Picard addresses the case of William (Oliver Cabassut) and dazedly notes that Bernier files it without further action, on the pretext that the file is empty. Informed, Claudine (Catherine Wilkening) calls Bernier to express her dissatisfaction. Their exchange becomes tense. Claudine promises not to stop there. Bernier doesn’t care. Disappointed, William tells the news to Elodie (Lola Klodawski) and Ludo (Folco Marchi) who refuse to let themselves be defeated. William thinks it’s a waste of time.

While Bernier is having lunch in the company of Mr Bienvenu aux Sauvages, the entrepreneur takes the opportunity to ensure that his interlocutor has understood that Engrais Plus was a major economic player for the region and thatit would be better for everyone if the noise around their society stopped. Bernier appears confident. He is unaware that, for its part, the press does not plan to drop this sensitive subject.
