Un Si Grand Soleil: will Eliott go to prison? Stéphane Monpetit responds

After two years of absence, Eliott made his comeback in Un si grand soleil on February 29. Will Eve’s son go to prison? Stéphane Monpetit, his interpreter, responds.

After two years on the run, Eliott Faure (Stéphane Monpetit) made his comeback in Un si grand soleil on February 29 accompanied by Muriel, his pregnant partner.

About to become a father, Eliott is in France to resolve his problems with the law and thus offer his son a better future. But as always in Un si grand soleil, problems are never far away even when you have the best intentions…

“He doesn’t want to spend his life on the run”

Questioned by our colleagues from TV StarStéphane Monpetit, the interpreter of Eliott, spoke about this return, eagerly awaited by the faithful of the program and about what awaits us during the next episodes of the France 2 daily soap opera.

He’s going to be a dad, he can’t see himself living this stage far from his mother and doesn’t want to spend his life on the run“, he explains before continuing. “He is determined to reset the counters because he now feels responsible and wants to offer his son a future. Charles, his best friend, and Eve want to trust him one last time, and so do I (laughs)“.

If Eliott therefore seems determined to make amends, his interpreter “already senses in the texts an element of darkness and persistent malice” in his character. He specifies, however, that “his desire for redemption is sincere“.

Eliott soon in prison?

To be able to build the life he wants, Eliott will have to reconnect with the prosecutor Bernier (Franck Adrien). And suffice to say that the two men are far from remaining on good terms.

There is always distrust and games of interest between them“, confides the actor. And adds: “I have the impression that the balance of power is reversed at a given moment. Bernier is at a stage where he needs Eliott to get out of a bad situation. He will use him just as Eliott uses him to buy back his virginity. I hope the viewers will excuse it…

In any case, this cat and mouse game risks costing Eliott dearly in the coming episodes. Indeed, Stéphane Monpetit fears that “Eliott is forced to go to prison“. He nevertheless assures that his character is intelligent and always ends up finding his way.

If it were up to me, I would like to embrace, for a while at least, the character of the ideal son-in-law. But in the format of a daily soap opera, the road is never linear. I trust the authors and I expect everything with Eliott“, he concludes.

That’s what it says!
