A weaker license on PC?
Even though the collection was expected, Uncharted Legacy of Thieves failed to replicate the cardboard of other PC ports of PlayStation games. Thanks to the data recorded by SteamDB (transmitted by VGC), we can see that compilation peaked at 10,851 players on Sunday, October 23which is its record (knowing that the game has only been available since October 19).
A score that must therefore be put into perspective with other PC ports of PlayStation games, with Days Gone, which during its first weekend, had managed to attract 27,000 onlookers. We are also very far from the figures achieved by Marvel’s Spider-Manand especially god of warwhich had gathered 73,529 at its highest peak during its launch.
The result ofUncharted Legacy of Thieves is therefore not up to the numbers of other PlayStation Studios games, which can be explained by a current period loaded with releases, but also by the fact thatUncharted 4 is now 6 years old, and the PC community may not be willing to pay full price for such a compilation. We bet that the port should however be profitable for Sony, especially over time.
