Fans of the Uncharted video game will surely have been troubled by a small detail concerning the VF of the feature film. Explanations.
Since 2007 and the release of the first Uncharted game, the hero Nathan Drake has been vocally embodied by Bruno Choël. This talented dubbing actor is notably the French voice of Johnny Depp and Ewan McGregor, just that!
But the actor does not only double these two huge stars! It is also the regular voice of Mark Wahlberg. The American actor plays Sully in the film adaptation, the hero’s sidekick played by Tom Holland.
NATHAN IS THE NEW SULLY
Therefore, aficionados of the video game franchise will be confused by hearing the voice of the Nathan Drake of the video game on the character of Sully.
For 15 years, the adventurer’s accomplice in the video game saga has been played by José Luccioni, dubbing actor famous for being the voice of Al Pacino.
As for Tom Holland, it is dubbed in French by Hugo Brunswick from Captain America Civil War. It is therefore logical that he continues to follow him.
In the original version, it is Nolan North who lends his stamp to Nathan Drake in the game. The actor also makes a cameo in the film in the shorts of a vacationer sunbathing on the beach.

Ironically, Mark Wahlberg should have played Nathan Drake for David O. Russell in 2010. Unfortunately, the project fell through.
