Under the influence of drugs – operation in emergency shelter: couple kicked police officers

A police operation due to a disturbance at an emergency shelter escalated on Wednesday in Klagenfurt. A couple under the influence of drugs made life difficult for the officers.

“The 29-year-old St. Veiter, who was under the influence of drugs, had to be turned away from the emergency shelter during the operation,” reports the police. “But his 26-year-old ex-partner, who was also under the influence of drugs, also behaved extremely aggressively during the official act.” Because she did not calm down despite being warned by the officers, she was arrested. But the 26-year-old offered fierce resistance. “The woman kicked the officers several times in various parts of her body. “The man himself also interfered in the official act because he wanted to prevent the arrest,” the police continued. “He kicked the door of the police vehicle behind which the officers were.” Because he resisted violently, the police pinned him to the ground “using enormous physical strength.” During his arrest, small amounts of narcotic drugs were also seized. The couple was finally taken to the police detention center – luckily the officers themselves were uninjured.
