The Belgian-French actress explained that she was particularly happy to have been able to work alongside him.
When the show ended, the 45-year-old was then surprised by an unexpected challenge, that of performing karaoke. Very playful, Virginie Efira was initially up for it, before being scared learning that it was a song by his friend Julien Doré. “I hope I still know her” she first said before finding out that it was Wasabi cabbage.

If the actress made her magnificent voice heard at the beginning of Julien Doré’s song, she quickly felt destabilized by the words that they didn’t know well. “I don’t know her song well, it’s horrible (…) I don’t sing that in karaoke myself” she revealed. And if the one who shot in the clip of the singer Kiki, released in March 2021 did try to sing the song, she ended up giving up. She then confided with humor: “Me who wanted to make an album, it’s screwed up there. In five minutes you ruined all my career opportunities“.
Virginie Efira will still have taken up the challenge of singing a song live. The actress who had already been invited to the show at the start of the year had also mentioned his beautiful friendship with the coach of The Voice Kids. “He is someone who has a sense of humor and a deep kindness. I am attached to him. I still imagine myself old seeing him much more often” she confided to Nathalie Levy. There is no doubt that Julien Doré will not hold it against the fact that the actress does not know her song inside out.
