Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has completed the sale of Westfield Santa Anita Arcadia, California, an established commercial real estate investor with additional assets in Southern California. The sale price of $537.5 million (100%, URW share 49%), is financed by the investor through a combination of equity and new debt. This is the largest transaction for a shopping center in the United States since 2018. With this operation, the group is accelerating its exit from the United States with a view to deleveraging.
