(CercleFinance.com) – UniCredit indicates that it has reached an agreement to sell an Italian portfolio of non-performing loans representing an amount of 1.3 billion euros, to a securitization vehicle managed by its partner bank illimity.
The Italian bank explains that this sale is part of its ongoing strategy to reduce its non-performing exposures. The impact of this transaction will be recorded in its accounts for the second quarter.
