Union of the left: how Jadot’s right arm was ousted

Alexis Braud lost the constituency he coveted in the legislative elections for issues of diversity, parity, even lack of popularity among the Greens. Sabrina Sebaihi should replace him.

The union of the left has its joys, its hopes… and its victims. Yannick Jadot’s right arm, the eco-friendly Alexis Braud, was dismissed from the circus he coveted, the 4th in Hauts-de-Seine. Not even for the benefit of an insubordinate or another color of left, but of a green acolyte. During a vote which must be finalized Thursday afternoon, it is Sabrina Sebaihi, deputy mayor of Ivry-sur-Seine and ex-spokesperson for Jadot, who is proposed. The battles continue among the Greens to distribute the last circos since the agreement signed Monday between EE-LV and LFI.

“Character far from being appreciated”

The affair began with a letter contesting the investiture of the adviser to Jadot whom At Pol’s was able to obtain. This call, coming from elected officials and from the society of Nanterre and Suresnes, challenges Braud: “We are deeply convinced that the choice of this candidacy, totally outside our constituency, our territory and its history, would be a mistake.” And to point out the importance of “diversity” in the “popular neighborhoods” and the election of a woman, as the circus has chosen for almost twenty-five years.
