In fact, most scooters seem heavy and clumsy. Completely different is the CE 04, which exudes more lightness. The wheelbase, which is relatively long at 1.68 m, stretches the look, the flat seat (seat height: 78 centimetres) has something dainty about it and the fact that it is almost floating, so you can actually see through it, makes the Munich look airy and light. In addition, it practically ends in nowhere, the number plate is carried behind the wheel, on a carrier that is fixed to the swingarm. Appearances are not deceptive: at 231 kg, the BMW CE 04 really can be described as a lightweight. Its predecessor, the BMW C Evolution, weighed 33 or 44 kg more, depending on the version.
