United States: industrial production at a standstill

(Boursier.com) – The Fed reported on Friday that US industrial production was stable in February, compared to the previous month, while the consensus was +0.4% according to FactSet. Manufacturing production still increased by 0.1%, against -0.2% consensus. The production capacity utilization rate stood at 78%, against 78.5% consensus. A month before, industrial production had climbed by 0.3% and manufacturing production by 1.3%, for a capacity utilization rate of 78%.
