United States: job openings well above expectations

(Boursier.com) — According to the US Department of Labor on Wednesday, job openings in the United States for the month of January 2022 stood at 11.26 million, against 10.9 million of market consensus and 11.45 million for the revised reading of the previous month. These are therefore particularly solid new figures for the US employment market, while the US unemployment rate has already fallen to 3.8%, close to full employment.
