(Boursier.com) – The preliminary U.S. consumer sentiment index for January 2022 stood at 68.8, up from a consensus of 70 and an earlier reading of 70.6 for December 2021.
Business inventories for November, which have also just been revealed, rose by 1.3% compared to the previous month, a performance close to the consensus, after a gain of 1.3% also in October.
