Two weeks ago, however, the company’s CEO, John Riccitiello, told nearly 3,000 employees that the company had no financial problems and that no layoffs would take place. According to Kotaku sources, the most affected departments would be the AI ​​and Engineering teams. The employees concerned will still receive their salary for a month but their future is more than uncertain. Because if they technically have the possibility of applying for other jobs in the company, the reality is quite different since Unity has decreed a hiring freeze in all departments.
