#UnJourMonExCeConnard: they testify on Twitter

On Twitter a new hasgtag appeared. Many women testify to the physical but also sometimes psychological violence they suffered.

On Twitter, a hashtag is used more and more, mainly by women. It is #UnJourMonExCeConnard. Many are those who testify of anecdotes with their ex-companion, claiming to have been victims of sexism, psychological but also physical violence within a toxic relationship. Some evoke their depression and the lack of support from their companion at the time. Others claim to have been manipulated or even subjected to beatings and death threats.

This hashtag reveals unveils a real scourge: domestic violence in all its forms. Many are breaking the silence and it is, without a doubt, a huge step to raise awareness on the subject. These testimonies also reveal that no violence should be minimized. Many are those who affirm the psychological consequences that these relationships had on them. A death threat, a lack of confidence in the other and the consequences on the following relationships … The repercussions are very real and should not be overlooked, whether this violence was physical or psychological.

It was the Twitter account MissCliKK who launched this hashtag revealing a real scourge. If this initiative has allowed many to free speech on such a delicate subject, some have blamed this hashtag, making the victims feel guilty: "Even in time of confinement good women come to piss us off. If you are not happy it's the door or good riddance !! And do not count on us to pay the fine of 130 € for you! are you feminists? we do half and half. " can we read in particular.

Fortunately, there has also been a lot of support from other Internet users: "The testimonials of #UnJourMonExCeConnard are terrifying, I send you my full support.
