Unreasonable behavior: Angelina Jolie takes a seat again on the director's chair

Angelina Jolie continues to be drawn to the film camera. She will direct the new biopic "Unreasonable Behavior".

After films like "Unbroken" and "By the Sea", Angelina Jolie (45) will again pull the strings behind the camera. The Hollywood star will be back in the director's chair for the biopic "Unreasonable Behavior". The biopic is supposed to tell the story of the British photojournalist Don McCullin (85) and is based on the autobiography of the war photographer of the same name. This is reported by the industry magazine "Variety".

Gregory Burke (52) will write the script, the whole thing will be produced by Dean Baker and acting ace Tom Hardy (43, "Mad Max: Fury Road") among others. McCullin himself will appear as an executive producer.

A fearless man

"I am honored to have the opportunity to bring Don McCullin's life to the big screen," Jolie said in a statement. She is attracted by the photographer's "unique combination of fearlessness and humanity" and his "absolute commitment to observing the truth about the war". McCullin, on the other hand, feels in "safe, capable and professional hands" with Jolie after seeing her film "The Long Road of Hope".
