A first time expected for the end of 2021, The Day Before
has since been postponed numerous times. In a post on the
official X account of the gamewe learn without much surprise that the post-apo MMO will be entitled to a new postponement.
Instead of next November 10, The Day Before should be accessible to players on December 7, 2023. But this time, the Russian studio Fntastic is innovating a little since this release does not concern the full version of the game. In fact, it is only early access which will begin next month .
After using all possible excuses to postpone its title, the studio finally seems to want to be transparent. Fntastic thus acknowledges that The Day Before
being their first major project, unforeseen complications may have arisen leading them to release the game in early access for the moment. And this, for an indefinite period.
The studio takes advantage of this announcement to also return to the intellectual property problem on the name The Day Before which forced them to postpone the release of the MMO at the start of the year. Following the lawsuit, won by Fntastic, the game can therefore keep its name.
Please note that early access to the MMO will not be free. Players will have to pay $39 to try the game. As for the final version, it should be priced at $49, if it ever arrives.
