Up to 15 people affected – boys scratched off car emblems: victims wanted

The police in the Tyrolean Oberland have now probably been able to clarify a series of unusual damages to property: between August and September 2023, two young people are said to have removed the manufacturer emblems from several vehicles there. Even more vehicle owners could be affected than previously known.

The police in Telfs received six reports in August and September of the previous year because the manufacturer symbols on the front of cars had been removed with a sharp tool. These were vehicles that were parked at Telfer Niedere-Munde-Straße 15 to 15d. One of the boys admitted that, together with the second young person, they had damaged around ten to 15 cars at three different locations in the manner described above. They are said to have damaged four vehicles at the Imst-Pitztal train station and five to ten other cars in Telfer Niedere-Munde-Straße, and two or three more vehicles at the Telfs-Pfaffenhofen train station parking garage. Police are looking for other victims In addition to the six reports in Telfs, the police were only able to assign damage to two other reports in Imst. In order to find the remaining victims, the police ask them to contact the Imst (059133/7100) or Telfs (059133/7126) police stations.
