As the results of the 2022 baccalaureate approach, several banks are highlighting their bonuses dedicated to new graduates. Here are the main awards gleaned by the editorial staff.
It’s a day we don’t forget. Tomorrow, Tuesday July 5 from 8 a.m., the 710,000 candidates registered for the 2022 baccalaureate exams will know their results, published academy after academy.
For many, the bac also marks the beginning of emancipation, particularly from a financial point of view, with the opening of the first real bank account, over which parents no longer have power of attorney. Some banks have understood this well and each year offer non-baccalaureate holders welcome bonuses. 2022 is no exception.
We did the tour of the offers posted online by the various national brands to July 2. They are few in number, but financially very interesting, especially if you have won a mention.
The faithful CIC at the rendezvous
One bank, year after year, is particularly welcoming to high school graduates. It’s about CIC. Faithful to the appointment, she pours up to 160 euros to the lycens who have shone the most. This maximum bonus goes to baccalaureate holders who have obtained a very good mention. In the event of mention fairly well (between 12 and 14 out of 20) or (between 14 and 16 out of 20), the reward drops respectively to 40 and 80 euros. To prove their good faith, 2021 baccalaureate holders must present their transcripts. This money is then paid into a CIC savings account. If you don’t have one, you will need to open it for the occasion, as well as a current account to be able to fund it. In both cases, it’s free.
Have you planned to go on a mop the day after the results (because as the saying goes: travel trains youth)? No need to rush. You have until September 30 to contact the bank or their CIC adviser directly.

Bonuses without mention
Not all banks make the mention a necessary condition for being rewarded. The Societe Generale offers this year a boost bonus of 80 euros to all its baccalaureate customers in 2022, provided that they are under 25 years old and that they hold a Jazz or Sobrio package, group offers of turnkey services with a bank card, compatible with Apple Pay and Paylib, payment method insurance and remote account access.
Better, if you are a new customer, you can benefit from 80euros additional, related to the opening of a bank account before next October 30, provided to carry out at least five operations during the first three months following the opening. Reminder: the Sobrio formula is invoiced at 3 euros per month for those under 25 years old.
On the side of BNP Paribas, the current offer is not aimed specifically at graduates, but at students in general, on presentation of proof of schooling. Beware, however: the bonus of 80 euros is linked to the opening of a first bank account, therefore reserved for non-customers. In addition, newcomers to the bank benefit from 3 years free on the Esprit Libre package, including an account, a bank card and means of payment insurance. A package normally billed between 2.76 and 6.97 euros per month, depending on age and the card chosen. Again, no need to rush: the offer is valid until September 2.
Bonuses without Bac in online banks
Boursorama, Fortuneo, Monabanq or even Orange Bank do not offer a specific offer for graduates. But, all year round, they display bonuses at the opening, valid including on their formulas accessible without income conditions. Offers that therefore adapt to the wallets of young graduates! Thus, at the beginning of July, it is possible to recover up to 130 euros in this way, provided you are patient: it is sometimes necessary to wait a few weeks before the bonus is actually credited. Avoid, therefore, if you want to use the premium to finance part of your vacation.

Offers also in regional banks
On the side of the regional mutual banks, bonuses exist but not everywhere: it all depends on the region in which you live. Example in the East, where the Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne offers a 50 euro bonus all high school graduates holding or opening an account before September 30th.
