up to 600 euros of exceptional aid, who will be able to benefit from this boost?

Action Logement offers a maximum aid of 600 euros to tenants of social housing following the increase in energy prices. Who will be able to benefit from it among the 10 million tenants in the HLM sector?

Action Logement offers aid of up to 600 euros for tenants of social housing (HLM). In order to help households in financial difficulty generated by the increase in the cost of energy, the social landlord estimates that this bonus could be granted to 75,000 households out of the 10 million tenants in the HLM sector.

But to benefit from it, several conditions must be met:

  • be a tenantsalaried or non-salaried, social housing;
  • have a increase in charges of more than 100 euros per month or face a regularization of charges over 1000 euros over the last 12 months;
  • have a stay living less than 15 euros per person and per day (because of this additional charge).

How to apply for this help?

Tenants eligible for assistance, financed by an Energy Fund set up by Action Logement, must contact their social landlord who will compile the file on a dedicated online tool (Soli’Aide). This service will be operational from December 12, 2022.

The system is complementary to the traditional energy check distributed in the spring to nearly 6 million households and also to the exceptional aid of 100,200 euros which will be paid from December to 12 million households.
