The characteristics of Samsung OLED TVs of 2023

Samsung recently entered the OLED TV market. The brand returns in 2023 with two flagship models: the Samsung OLED S95C, which is the most high-end model, and the S90C, which offers excellent value for money.

Unlike other brands and in particular its Korean competitor, Samsung is distinguished by the combination of Quantum Dots and OLED technologies. This combo designated by QD-OLED helps to improve the brightness and colors of these OLED TVs.

The brightness peak of the Samsung S95C OLED is thus close to the 1500 nits. This is a very high figure for an OLED TV. So you won’t have to worry about being in a room with lots of light. Note that both models are compatible with HDR formats, up to HDR10+ Adaptive. But as usual, Samsung does not offer Dolby Vision.

Note that for all Samsung OLED TVs from 2023, the audio part is in good shape and that they are also designed for gamers, and in particular for those who wish to use their TV with a PS5 or an Xbox Series X.
