Bahram’s Disturbing Incident
At the Pavillon des Fleurs, Eric grows increasingly anxious for Bahram’s wellbeing. Concern stems from his silence over the past few days, leading Eric to fear that Bahram may have been arrested again. In a bid to check on him, Eric asks Blanche for the contact details of the Iranian neurologist.
Later on, Blanche and Eric visit the center where Bahram is staying, but the receptionist is uncooperative. Their worry intensifies when they spot Bahram’s bike abandoned on the roadside, prompting them to consider the possibility of an accident.
Just then, Bahram arrives and reveals that he was indeed struck by a vehicle, although he’s assured it’s not severe. Despite a painful hand wrapped in a bandage, he initially refuses to go to the hospital due to his lack of health insurance. Ultimately, Blanche and Eric persuade him to seek medical attention.
Post-consultation with Léa, Bahram learns that his injury won’t hinder his ability to work as a neurologist, which brings him relief. Léa is shocked to find that Bahram is a fellow medical professional facing barriers to practice in France, especially considering the ongoing shortage of doctors.
Gabriel’s Dangerous Game
At the Mistral, Gabriel finds himself inundated with phone calls from Deville, who has relentlessly contacted him twelve times throughout the day. The source of Deville’s frustration likely stems from discovering that Ravi sold his identity on the Dark Web, leading to a slew of fines.
Worried, Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) cautions Gabriel against provoking Deville any further, expressing concern over the man’s sadistic tendencies. He warns Gabriel, saying, ‘He seems like a sadist who doesn’t want to let go of his prey. You’re getting a taste for revenge, and I don’t like that.’ Gabriel insists he has everything under control, but is that truly the case?
Hours later, Aurélien Deville confronts Gabriel at the medical office, furious and threatening to file a complaint. Gabriel stands firm, declaring that he won’t cease his revenge until his identity is cleared from the Dark Web.
As Gabriel exits, he crosses paths with Samuel (Iñaki Lartigue), who has just lodged a complaint regarding identity theft involving Aurélien Deville. Samuel suspects Gabriel’s involvement.
In a surprising turn, Gabriel dismisses the consequences, maintaining his nonchalant demeanor. He quips to Samuel, ‘I would love to hear your little oath, but I have a home consultation,’ before walking away without further comment.
Anthony’s Web of Deceit
At the Mistral police station, Charlotte from the technical and scientific police presents Jean-Paul (Stéphane Henon) and Ariane with a crucial document: the report detailing the single occasion Vattier’s fingerprint was identified.
Charlotte informs her colleagues, ‘This man is the nightmare of the scientific police because he is super professional. On this point, it doesn’t match your story of aggression.’ Jean-Paul realizes that Dylan Vattier intentionally got himself caught to frame Ulysse (Jeremy Charvet).
Ulysse returns home after a grueling night in custody, sharing with his mother that the police suspect him of assaulting Anthony (Michaël Bourse). Ophélie arrives, presenting Ulysse with the necklace he lost at the hospital, expressing her suspicion regarding his involvement in Anthony’s attack.
Vanessa (Agathe de la Boulaye) is furious to learn that Anthony Charon has charmed Ophélie. She confronts her daughter, blaming her for betraying their family. Later, while confiding in Aya at the Massalia residence, Ophélie admits, ‘Sometimes, I feel like we’re not on the same wavelength as my mother. I feel different.’
Meanwhile, Jean-Paul and Ariane delve deeper into Vattier’s case, uncovering that betraying Ulysse to the police could work in Vattier’s favor during his trial. Ariane also reveals to Boher that Vattier’s mother is battling leukemia, placing the responsibility of care upon him.
Jean-Paul and Ariane summon Dylan Vattier for further questioning, threatening to bring his mother in if he remains uncooperative. Eventually, Vattier admits that Anthony orchestrated the entire situation.
As Anthony enjoys a drink at the Mistral, he discovers his credit card has been declined, anxiety creeping in. At that moment, he locks eyes with Vanessa Kepler, who gives him a knowing smile. With a knife in hand, Anthony is left to ponder whether he will follow through with his intentions.
