Batman has disappeared and crime has taken advantage of this to take over the streets of Gotham City. It is the turn of the allies and assistants of the famous vigilante to take over, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, in order to protect the city and resolve the situation. Combining action-RPG and open world in Gotham City, it will be possible to patrol the city alone, or with other heroes.

When the team in charge of recent XCOM games applies its know-how to a game of the same genre on the Marvel license, there is something to be intrigued, even without particularly appreciating the latter. You play as a new superhero freely customizable in terms of appearance and power, the Hunter. Accompanied by 13 heroes from different Marvel licenses, you will face Lilith the mother of demons, who seeks to destroy the world. The story is intended to be quite dark, with mechanics very different from those of XCOM, you lead a squad of 4 superheroes in tactical turn-based battles against the hordes of Lilith by making good use of the powers of the chosen team. You also have the opportunity to socialize with the other heroes while returning to the base, be it Ironman, Wolverine or others.
Described as X-COM in the Marvel universe before its announcement, this new game developed by Firaxis turns out to be very different in practice, since it would not share mechanics with its predecessor and permanent death would be absent. Here’s the full info on gameplay, story, and more.
Hogwarts Legacy – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series

This ambitious title offers for the first time to explore the famous universe of the Harry Potter license, but with a real open world. The story takes place in the 19th century, we embody a fully customizable sorcerer’s apprentice, and not one of the known heads of the universe. You are free to study different subjects at Hogwarts, such as potion brewing and especially spell mastery, as strange and ancient magic manifests itself. The choice should also be offered to you between different orientations, such as using your abilities for the common good, or for darker ends…

Dead Space Remake – PC, PS5, Xbox Series

The excellent title of 2008, Dead Space, is entitled to a modern remake. Besides the new graphics engine, the game should receive various improvements in order to make the exploration of the mining ship Ishimura by the engineer Isaac Clarke even more frightening, with the addition of new sections, for example. The monstrosities that invaded the ship, the Necromorphs, are different from what we are used to, and combining this with the protagonist’s slowness, limited arsenal, and claustrophobic atmosphere, and the result was there at the time. It remains to be seen if this new version will be able to find the magic lost gradually in the sequels.
The Callisto Protocol – PS5

This new project from one of the creators of the Dead Space series takes place in the same universe as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but a few centuries later. We will embody in the third person one of the prisoners of a penal colony invaded by horrible aliens. The goal would be to give us the scariest game possible.
God of War: Ragnarok – PS4, PS5

The second part of Kratos’ adventures in the middle of Norse mythology, always in the company of Atreus. The story follows on from 2018’s God of War. The duo must fight their way through the Nine Realms as the doomsday battle against the gods of Asgard draws near: Ragnarök. The game should be in line with the previous one in terms of gameplay, but it is to be expected that it will be a level above graphically, since it is also planned for PS5 as soon as it is released.

Not much is known about Capcom’s next title, except that it’s reminiscent of Death Stranding on several levels. Its strange and desolate universe, its protagonist in a jumpsuit, and the presence of a mysterious little girl are all common points. And like the latter, it mixes science fiction and adventure.
Diablo IV – PS4, PS5

The highly anticipated sequel to the founding license of an entire genre. Diablo 4 seeks to deliver the best of Diablo 2 and 3, while drawing inspiration from modern competition. Play as one of 5 hero classes and hunt down demons in a large open Sanctuary map. Dark, ambitious, and only playable online, Diablo 4 is expected at the turn.
