A zero day vulnerability exploited is now patched thanks to an update of Google Chrome available since yesterday. Download it ASAP!
In total, 11 flaws were detected by the Mountain View firm on its web browser.

6 of these 11 Chrome flaws were due to a use-after-free memory fault. « use after free “). These vulnerabilities are exploited through the malicious use of a pointer to a program. These pointers should normally have been deleted after being freed, which was not the case due to a malfunction in dynamic memory.
Among these flaws, there was also a zero-day vulnerability. However, Google did not give details about it, and the only information communicated by the group is in the title given to the flaw: ” Insufficient validation of untrusted inputs in Intents “. Intent is Google’s mechanism for redirecting data from the browser to an application.
The applications or data that were affected by the flaw were not mentioned. Either way, updating Chrome will prevent all of these vulnerabilities from being exploited. In order to avoid this, it is recommended to keep its software and applications as up-to-date as possible.
