Two weeks from the end of the Loot Season of Destiny 2which will clearly have been mixed despite two nice activities, Bungie kicked off Tuesday night a community event aimed at rebuilding the Eliksni neighborhood accessed through the CIMU. It follows the seasonal event that was the Festival of the Lost Souls 2022 for halloween and to a fun micro-event where the Telesto took over the gaming networks. If you haven’t been following, the often-troublesome exotic weapon that sits proudly in the hands of banshee worked oddly for a few days (deliberately for once), literally pulling constellations.
Alas, it didn’t go any further and except I’Schrödinger’s Pistol Emblem to recover by entering the code quoted below on Bungie.net, as well as the few lines of text that we have transcribed below, no big secret was on the program. On the other hand, it should be noted that the weapon behavior changes have been implemented and removed from the game without any patch being deployed, so it could be that behind the distracting aspect, the studio was looking to test a new how to modify the content. Since nothing escapes data miners in normal times, this could be a solution in order to keep a few surprises secret in the future.

Let’s now move on to the news of the moment, namely the rebuilding of Eliksni neighborhood. Introduced last year during the Season of the Symbioteit was no longer accessible since the launch of The Witch Queen, with a year’s seasonal content being retired when a new expansion is released. With the Loot Seasonwe have seen that our allies in the House of Light arranged the land that once served at the end of the Scourge of the Past Raid and where they had taken refuge.
During the last two weeks of the seasonso we will be able to harvest Captain’s Coins serving as currency for the occasion and thus progress towards the donation objective set which is 400 million of these treasures. If you find this huge, it is not, because just by providing the number necessary to obtain our personal rewards, it would only take 166,667 players to go through with it. Furthermore, in just over 24 hours now, as of this writing, only the ultimate goal remains, with over 360 million treasures having already been depositedso it’s only a matter of hours before the outcome.
Here is the list of stages of this community event and what they bring:
- Cleaning – Clears rubble and improves accessibility to the Eliksni district. Unlocks the ability to donate Season of Loot map fragments to the donation chest ;
- Ether tank – Upgrades the Eliksni Quarter Ether Reservoir. Unlocks the ability to donate Season of Loot treasure coordinates to the donation chest ;
- Comfort – Secures imports from the Eliksni community. Unlocks the ability to donate destination materials to the donation chest ;
- rookies – Allows the Eliksni to join the Tower’s security forces. Unlocks the ability to purchase gifts from the Eliksni Quarter through the Donation Chest;
- Lodging – Build additional housing in the Eliksni district. Unlocks the ability to earn an Eliksni Quarter Gift by completing an Onslaught;
- Garden – Adds a community garden to the Eliksni district. Unlocks the ability to earn an Eliksni Quarter Gift by completing a Gambit activity;
- main square – Establishes a main plaza in the Eliksni district. Unlocks the chance to earn a gift from the Eliksni Quarter by completing a Crucible activity.
As for our personal goal as Guardianso it amounts to 2,400 treasures to bring back, knowing that we delivered more than enough in one handover thanks to the leftover materials that can be used for the exchange. Unfortunate that Bungie did not leave the choice of the number to give on the other hand… Well, the rewards aren’t crazy, but we didn’t have to do much to get them so we’re not going to complain too much. On the other hand, the Gift from the Eliksni Quarter offered to the Donation Chest to the Round requires no less than 1,000 Captain’s Coins without the possibility of using something else to compensate. Given its content (the same as indicated below), no interest of farmer even using means to obtain it in large quantities quickly.
- 1 treasure: Puzzle Pieces Emblem;
- 300 treasures: 5 Improvement Matrixes;
- 600 treasures: 3 Upgrade Modules;
- 1,000 Treasures: Gift from the Eliksni Quarter (amongst Remembrance Resonance Weapon, Eververse Engram, Bright Dust, and Lumen);
- 1,400 treasures: 2 Enhancement Prisms;
- 1,800 treasures: Rising Shard;
- 2,400 treasures: Proud-to-Arms Hull.
Well, unfortunately, the visual transformation of the places is quite rudimentary compared to the state at the start of the season (after all, theAvant-garde was not fucked to rebuild the previous one Round for all these years…) but still gives more life to the place. The purpose of the event, however, remains unknown.because nothing says that the district will remain accessible during the arrival ofEclipse on February 28, 2023, and if it were to be taken down again, then not much groundbreaking should be expected. It is nevertheless good to note that them Frames present on site to clean are those usually employed by Rasputin…
We’ll keep you posted on what happens once the final tier is reached, hopefully a little cinematic will wrap up the season in teasing the discoveries that have been made Misraaks and Eido about the Relics of Nezarec.
Update : Well, the objective of the event has been achieved and already largely exceededallowing you to complete the quest rising tide. Visually, it’s clearly not crazy, and if 400 million Captain’s Coins are the equivalent of our current currencies, the Eliksnis were well swelled by whoever conducted the restoration work… Apart from the audio messages of Misraakswe just have to be satisfied with three Triumphs additionalthe first of which will still require you to play a few activities to complete it.
