Casually, it’s next week that the next big exclusivity of PlayStation Studios will land on PS5 and PS4, we are obviously talking aboutHorizon Forbidden Westthe second episode of the adventures ofaloy in a post-post-apocalyptic world populated by animal-like machines. At the end of January, we were able to discover gameplay turning on PS4 Pro through several sequences. It is now the very first model of the previous generation console which is targeted by a very short video shared by Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Gamesbut then really very short!
By removing the parts with the logos, 17 seconds that are used to us to judge the rendering of Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 “fat”, which is as a reminder less powerful than a PS4 Pro. The images previously broadcast were extremely promising and this sequence does not have to be ashamed in terms of graphics with very realistic vegetation, although it is a rocky area where it is therefore less dense. On the other hand, no sequence of action to judge the frame rate in the middle of a fight, which would probably have had more interest.
Horizon Forbidden West coming out on February 18, we will quickly be fixed concerning the performance of the beast on the various consoles of EIS. If you’re confident and want your copy at launch, you can pre-order it at Fnac from €64.99. As a reminder, the update to the PS5 will be free with this game.
Update : another short video of gameplay running on PS4 was broadcast on Twitter by the studio, this time showing a confrontation with a Tremortusk (defense strike), much more convincing and useful for the moment.
