Update on grace periods relating to bonds issued by the Casino Group


(AOF) – Following numerous questions from bondholders, the Casino group has indicated that the President of the Paris Commercial Court will rule during the month of September on requests for grace periods relating to high yield bonds not secured bonds issued by Casino, maturing in 2026 and 2027, to EMTN bonds maturing in 20261, and (to TSSDIs issued in 2005. In the meantime, the President of the Paris Commercial Court has temporarily suspended all payment obligations under concerned.

The distributor recalled that the conciliators requested, for the benefit of the group, the suspension, for the duration of the conciliation period (i.e. until October 25, 2023 at the latest), of the payment of interest (and other commissions) due by the companies in conciliation (i.e. approximately €130 million), as well as principal installments due during this period by the companies in conciliation (i.e. approximately €70 million).

With regard to creditors who refused the granting of the waivers requested, the Group indicated that it would ask the President of the Commercial Court to apply grace periods in application of the Commercial Code.
