While a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase just announced, it’s on the side ofAmazon one leaked has surfaced in recent hours, mentioning a production of Microids not announced at this time and which could therefore be formalized on Tuesday. Her name ? Smurfs Kart, a racing game that would be released this yearsince its placement date indicates December 31, 2022, and which is here referenced on Switch.
A dozen characters and circuits would allow us to have fun alone or up to 4 on the same screen according to the description attached to the sheet.
- 12 circuits distributed in the universe of the Smurfs: the village, the forest, the dam, the marshes… even Gargamel’s house!
- 12 Smurfs are at your disposal: it’s up to you to select the pilot that suits you!
- Each Smurf has his own kart and a handy special object to put opponents in the wind.
- Reach 1st place by taking advantage of your environment: bonus objects, boosts, ramps, destructible crates, shortcuts…
- Play alone or with the family, up to 4 players in local multiplayer with split screen.
No visual for the moment, but we will therefore not delay a priori to see the rendering of this small family production.

Update : it will not have been necessary to wait very long in the end, because Microids has just formalized the one to be named Smurfs Kart with an “s” (the name has been changed in the rest of the article) on the occasion of the World Smurfs Day. Developed by French studio Eden Games (Gear.Club Unlimited, Drive Unlimited review, V-Rally…), it will bea Switch exclusive that will be released at the end of the year in box and digital formatwithout further details.
